Insurance for Mail Contractors
GWS Network offers POAAL Member Mailcontractors the opportunity to access the POAAL Master Policy for a variety of insurance requirments at competitive rates through membership of POAAL. Details (including premiums and charges) are on membership renewal and application forms.
The most common insurances required by mail contractors are:
- Public Liability Insurance
- Personal Accident Insurance
- Marine Cargo Insurance (Goods in Transit)
Contractors using a PDT (hand held scanner) will also be required to provide insurance for the scanner.

When you take Public Liability Insurance you will be issued with a Certificate of Currency to provide to Australia Post.
